Hi, these two forces that keep me busy.. Here is a nice blog entry at Rrove Blog about sites dedicated to social mapping. There is just so much fun possible in this field. Personally I believe function serves form here. A site like Plazes looks great but Yelp really is useful.

Most likely there will be three routes to succes with exploiting location in the social arena:

1. It will be Social Local Search which will trigger Social Mapping into Social Networking(get it?)

2. It will be Mobile Friendfinder Service Like BuddyBeacon which will trigger location into social networking.

3. Existing Social Networks just integrate location.. 😉
